EGAT – Innopower join forces to strengthen the power transmission system

EGAT and Innopower signed an MOU to integrate the development of transmission systems using modern technology (Grid Modernization), paving the way for the future to support renewable energy trends. Join in creating opportunities for the country.

Mr. Kitti Petchsanthat, Deputy Governor of Transmission System Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and Mr. Athip Tantivorawong, Chief Executive Officer of Inno Power Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the integration of transmission system development using technology. modern (Grid Modernization) to jointly develop Grid Modernization Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAS) Central System and Management Platform, and Autopilot Management Systems Online

Mr. Kitti Petchsantad, EGAT’s Deputy Governor, Transmission System, revealed that in the future, new and advanced technologies will be used in the transmission system to improve the efficiency of the power grid (Grid) into a new format. Innopower Co., Ltd. contributes to the development and implementation of power transmission technology for domestic use completely. It will be an opportunity to continue and expand business results. It is also an opportunity for the country to become a leader in Grid Modernization. in the next region as well

Mr. Athip Tantivorawong, Chief Executive Officer of Inno Power Co., Ltd., said that the company focuses on investing in innovation and energy technology of the future. Ready to develop new business and seek cooperation with partners. We are very pleased to support and extend Grid Modernization. One of the strategies of the country and EGAT group, this cooperation will be the starting point to pave the way for the country and EGAT in the future.

Electrical transmission technology It is one of the important operations to cope with fluctuations in renewable energy and electric vehicles that will increase in the future, which can be divided into 4 groups: 1) Drones, Robotics, and Virtual Reality (AR/ VR) enables quicker and more efficient inspections, operation and maintenance of the power transmission system. 2) Smart sensors and IoT, integrating modern data management systems into the power transmission system. Able to track and measure changes in transmission lines and high voltage substations in real-time. 3) Data center centralized platform. Helps to receive information as well as monitoring and analyzing the overview of the country’s electricity transmission system, covering the entirety 4) Artificial Intelligence (AI) to process statistical data of electrical energy. Improves efficiency and maintains the stability of the electrical system (Grid Stability).
