The Royal Gazette website has published an announcement from the House of Representatives regarding the appointment of the next person on a political party's party-list to fill a vacant seat in the House of Representatives of the Pheu Thai Party. According to Thai News Agency, dated May 1, 2026, the announcement states that Mr. Suriya Jungrungruangkit, the third-ranked party-list MP, has submitted his resignation, effective April 29, 2026. Therefore, Ms. Khattiya Sawasdiphol, ranked 17th on the party-list, will be appointed as the next MP to fill the vacant seat.
