Amnat charoen: "Suksomruay-Yaneenath" has initiated a team deployment from Amnat Charoen to aid local citizens in verifying their eligibility for state welfare benefits, aiming to alleviate the burden on the elderly and vulnerable groups. Ms. Suksomruay Wantaniyakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Member of Parliament for Amnat Charoen Constituency 1, and Ms. Yaneenath Khemmanak, Member of Parliament for Amnat Charoen Constituency 2, have spearheaded this initiative.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bhumjaithai Party team was dispatched to the area to spread information using loudspeakers to help existing cardholders of the 2026 State Welfare Card program confirm their eligibility. This effort is directed towards those who have not yet done so. The team also provided guidance and accurate information regarding government procedures to ensure clarity and accessibility.
Ms. Suksomruay highlighted that the field visit was motivated by a concern for the elderly, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups who face challenges in traveling or accessing digital systems. She emphasized that their approach will assist the government in ensuring that no information is overlooked. The team reached out to the village level to offer services, facilitate data verification, confirm eligibility, and address any questions in close proximity to the citizens.
For the 2026 State Welfare Registration Project, the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, has identified two target groups: existing holders of the State Welfare Card and those who were overlooked or have never received benefits. The Bhumjaithai Party team in Amnat Charoen is focusing its services on the existing cardholders. These individuals are required to re-confirm their eligibility between June 4th and 21st, 2026, through various channels, including the Paotang application, government application, project website, Krung Thai Bank ATMs, and designated registration units of the bank.
Additionally, for citizens who meet the eligibility criteria for state welfare but have not yet received benefits, their information will be collected through the "unreported" system. Ministry of Interior officials will conduct on-site inspections and gather data within communities and villages. This information will go through a certification process involving village leaders, local leaders, village committees, and community forums to ensure transparency and the inclusion of genuinely eligible individuals. New registrants are advised to await official announcements from the government without taking immediate action.
