Amnat Charoen: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul led the Ministry of Interior's delegation to Amnat Charoen, presenting a robust policy framework focused on drug suppression, potable tap water, investment and tourism attraction, and strengthening public health services through village health volunteers. According to Thai News Agency, Anutin and his team visited Amnat Municipality School in Lue Amnat District to address heads of government agencies, district chiefs, kamnans, village headmen, and executives of local administrative organizations (LAOs). During his policy presentation, Anutin expressed his appreciation for the village headmen, highlighting their role as the foundation of the country and as representatives of His Majesty the King. Anutin emphasized the Ministry of Interior's commitment to curbing narcotics, fostering job creation, and boosting income through tourism and investment. He underscored the importance of ensuring clean and drinkable tap water and urged local administrative organizations to optimize budget requests for community benefit. He also addressed the evolving role of Village Health Volunteers (VHVs), stating that the Ministry is dedicated to supporting VHVs through first aid training and educational opportunities in nursing assistant courses. This initiative aims to enhance the public health system's capacity to deliver comprehensive services. 'I and the executives of the Ministry of Interior and all government agencies, state enterprises under the Ministry of Interior will be a force supporting our brothers and sisters in the administrative sector, local leaders, and local administrative organizations to have resources ready for management in the area. Our children must have an education, a career, a job, and a good quality of life,' Anutin concluded. During his visit, Anutin also met with over 1,500 VHVs and toured an exhibition showcasing local fabric and OTOP products, which are vital to Amnat Charoen's economy and job market.
