Thai Women’s Futsal Team Faces Crucial Match Against Colombia

Manila: The Thai women's futsal team is gearing up for a decisive match against Colombia this evening, which will determine their advancement to the 2025 Women's Futsal World Cup knockout stages.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai women's national futsal team conducted their final training session at Ninoy Aquino Stadium in the Philippines in preparation for their third match in Group B of the tournament against Colombia. Both teams have accumulated 3 points each, making this match critical for securing a spot in the round of 8, as Spain has already advanced with 6 points.

Head coach Thanathorn Santanaprasit, known as "Coach O," emphasized the importance of refining both offensive and defensive strategies during the 1-hour and 30-minute training session.

Ariya Sae-Ten, a striker for the team, expressed confidence in the upcoming match while acknowledging Colombia's strength. She noted the importance of not underestimating their opponents and highlighted the need for accurate passing and precise shooting to counter Colombia's agility and larger players.
