Bangkok: Teng Nattapong, leader of the People's Party and prime ministerial candidate, has made a public call for citizens to exercise their voting rights before the polls close at 5:00 PM. Emphasizing the power of the electorate, Teng highlighted that the future decisions lie in the hands of the people.
According to Thai News Agency, Teng, along with his family, participated in the voting process by casting their ballots in the referendum at the Wat Thong Bang Chuek Nang polling station, located in the Taling Chan district. Teng shared insights from previous field visits, noting a strong public interest and response to the current election, and stressed the importance of each citizen's vote in shaping a better future.
To ensure the integrity of the election process, teams have been deployed to observe all stages of the voting, from casting to counting, aiming to maintain order and transparency. Teng also extended his support to the officials involved, urging them to perform their duties with honesty and fairness, thereby ensuring the election and referendum are conducted in a verifiable manner.
