Royal Thai Police Honors Officers with “Spokesperson Thumbs Up” Award

Bangkok: The spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police, Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwphan, presented the "Spokesperson Thumbs Up" award to commend three influencer police officers and five police officers for their diligent performance in assisting the public. The award ceremony took place to recognize their outstanding efforts in producing positive and creative media, communicating a positive image of the police, and their exceptional service to the community. According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony, held at the 3rd floor meeting room of Building 12, Information Division, was presided over by Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwphan, Deputy Inspector General of the Royal Thai Police. Also in attendance were Pol. Maj. Gen. Siriwat Deepo, Deputy Commander of the Technology Crime Investigation Bureau 1, and Pol. Col. Thachapong Sarawanangkoon, Deputy Commander of the Information Division. The award seeks to promote morale among officers who excel in their duties. The recipients of the "Thumbs Up Spokesperson" award wer e divided into categories, including those recognized for their innovative use of social media. Among them was Police Colonel Pinit Prasitkhetkit, who uses his TikTok channel "P' Big Pinit" to educate the public on legal matters and safety tips. Sergeant Major Thanawan Trisukon, known for his TikTok channel "Sergeant Boom," was recognized for his courteous and informative content. Police Sergeant Chokchai Malasri gained attention for his viral traffic safety campaign, which emphasized road discipline. Five officers received awards for their dedication to public service. Police Lieutenant Jarupat Buakaew was honored for his investigative work in identifying a victim of a train-bus collision, while four officers from the Lat Krabang Police Station were commended for reuniting missing children with their families. Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong emphasized that the award was designed to show gratitude to officers for their contributions to public relations and community assistance. The award aims to inspire officers to continue their service as protectors of peace and well-being.
