Royal Thai Air Force Celebrates King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Birthday with Ceremonies and Activities

Bangkok: The Royal Thai Air Force organized a series of activities to honor the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, coinciding with National Day and Father's Day in 2025. Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, and Ms. Apisada Kantha, President of the Royal Thai Air Force Spouses Association, led the commemorative events.

According to Thai News Agency, the ceremonies took place at the Ronnaphakat Building, Royal Thai Air Force Aviation Park. They included a Buddhist chanting ceremony and an alms-giving to 89 monks as a royal merit-making offering. The events were attended by senior military officers, Air Force personnel, and members of the Air Force Spouses Association.

Additionally, a blood donation activity was organized at the Blood Service Division, Cancer Center Building, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department, to offer merit to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. Air bases in other provinces and aviation schools also participated in activities to commemorate the significant day.
