Bangkok: The Royal Thai Air Force organized a series of activities to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, National Day, and Father's Day in 2025. Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, along with Ms. Apisada Kantha, President of the Royal Thai Air Force Spouses Association, presided over the events held at the Ronnaphakat Building, Royal Thai Air Force Aviation Park.
According to Thai News Agency, the commemorative activities included a Buddhist chanting ceremony and alms-giving to 89 monks as a royal merit-making offering. This was part of a larger ceremony to honor His Majesty's grace and pay homage. The ceremony saw the participation of senior military officers, Air Force personnel, and members of the Air Force Spouses Association.
Additionally, a blood donation event took place at the Blood Service Unit, Cancer Center Building, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department. This initiative was aimed at offering merit to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. Similar activities were also organized at air bases in other provinces and at aviation schools to mark the occasion and pay tribute to the late King.
