Royal Kitchen Set Up in Trat to Aid Refugees

Trat: The Trat Provincial Disaster Relief Command has implemented a royal kitchen to assist refugees in the region, providing essential meals during their time of need. The initiative began with the distribution of 1,800 meal boxes on its inaugural day, aimed at supporting evacuees situated in Trat Province.

According to Thai News Agency, the Chanthaburi and Trat Border Protection Command (CBPC) initiated this effort by establishing a royal kitchen at the temporary shelter located at Wat Huang Pattana in Saen Tung Subdistrict, Khao Saming District. The Eastern Regional Command of the National Food Security Center has taken on the responsibility of organizing and preparing these meals three times daily, with each meal consisting of 600 boxes, amounting to a total of 1,800 boxes distributed per day.

Commencing on December 10, 2025, meal preparation began with lunch and will persist until the situation stabilizes. On the first day, the menu included fried chicken with garlic and hot steamed rice for lunch, totaling 600 boxes. For dinner, the menu featured stir-fried minced pork with basil alongside a boiled egg, served with hot steamed rice, also totaling 600 boxes. This initiative provided a total of 1,200 boxes of food over two meals, ensuring that displaced individuals receive necessary sustenance during challenging times.
