Singapore: Recently, PTT International Trading Pte Ltd (PTTT) and Centrica LNG Company Limited (Centrica) signed a long-term LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the trading of liquefied natural gas (LNG). This agreement is based on the Heads of Agreement (HoA) signed in June 2025. The signing ceremony included key figures such as Mr. Jaturong Voravitsurawatana, Senior Vice President of the International Trading Business Unit at PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), and Ms. Thananporn Tangpitakakul, the Acting Managing Director of PTTT. Other notable attendees were Mr. Vaidhayang Kullavanich, Assistant Managing Director of International Trade, Upstream Petroleum Products and International Affairs Group at PTT, and Mr. Arturo Gallego, Executive Vice President and Global Head of LNG at Centrica.
According to Thai News Agency, this SPA marks PTTT's inaugural long-term LNG sales contract outside of Thailand. PTTT is set to supply LNG to Centrica's customers across the Asian region for a duration of 10 years, commencing in 2028. This partnership enhances PTTT's network of partners across various countries, facilitating efficient management of the LNG business, and creating value for both entities. It also boosts competitiveness in the international energy market, representing a pivotal step for PTTT towards sustainable growth in the global LNG trading market.
