Chiang mai: The summit of Doi Inthanon was cold this morning, with temperatures dropping to 4 degrees Celsius, causing frost to form and cover the area in a white blanket.

According to Thai News Agency, the drop in temperature has made the summit of Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai province bitterly cold this morning, with temperatures dropping to just 4 degrees Celsius, a decrease of 3 degrees Celsius from yesterday. At ground level, the temperature reached -2.6 degrees Celsius, causing frost to form on the lawns, benches, and on tourists' cars.

At Kew Mae Pan viewpoint, kilometer 42, a popular check-in point, tourists continue to gather to watch the sunrise and the sea of mist. This morning's temperature was 4 degrees Celsius, a drop of 6 degrees Celsius from yesterday. Tourists experienced the sea of mist and the sunrise. Officials reiterated the importance of driving up the mountain with extra caution.
