Bangkok: PTT wins two prestigious awards at the SET Awards 2025, reinforcing its strong commitment to Thai society and sustainable global growth. Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), revealed that PTT received two prestigious awards from the SET Awards 2025, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Finance and Banking Magazine. These awards reflect PTT's continued commitment to sustainability and innovation leadership under the vision of "PTT: Strong Together with Thai Society and Sustainable Global Growth."
According to Thai News Agency, PTT has received the Sustainability Awards of Honor: Best Sustainability Awards for the fifth year in a row for driving a balanced energy transition in three dimensions: 1. Strengthening energy security (Security), 2. Equitable energy access (Affordability), and 3. Environmental sustainability (Sustainability) to achieve the goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
PTT has received the SET Awards of Honor: Best Innovative Company Awards for the third consecutive year. This year, the award was given to "InnoTherm-380 GA," a biotechnology that enhances the efficiency of ethanol production from cassava, reduces costs, increases productivity, and enhances the competitiveness of Thai industry. This reduces reliance on imports and leads to future bioenergy businesses. This innovation has been patented and is currently in use in a major ethanol plant, with plans to expand to other plants.
