MEA Joins Forces with IEEE PES to Launch “IEEE PES GTD Asia 2025”

Bangkok: MEA joins forces with IEEE PES to launch "IEEE PES GTD Asia 2025," showcasing world-class energy innovation potential and establishing Thailand as a clean energy hub in ASEAN.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pisanu Tantithaworn, Deputy Governor of the MEA (Metropolitan Electricity Authority), in collaboration with the IEEE Power and Energy Society (IEEE PES), represented MEA in opening the "IEEE PES GTD Grand International Conference and Exposition Asia 2025," an international academic conference and exhibition. The event brought together global power experts to exchange knowledge on smart grid technology and renewable energy, aiming to drive the Carbon Neutrality policy and show MEA's potential as a regional leader in sustainable energy utilities. The event took place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok.

The MEA exhibition booth showcased innovative 'Smart Energy Solutions' developed by MEA to meet the needs of urban lifestyles. These included the Smart Meter management system, the innovative Stable Pole system to prevent continuous downfall, the innovative MEA PLUG ME EV charging control system, and the innovative Charge Sure by MEA service. These innovations are a testament to MEA's commitment to driving the future of metropolitan energy towards the goals of Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Emissions, while also serving as a key force in the sustainable development of the country's economy and society.
