According to Thai News Agency, after examining troops at the 25th Military District Command, Weerawat Yothin Camp, the Prime Minister, alongside the Minister of Interior, visited a temporary evacuation and shelter center in Surin Province. They were welcomed by the Governor of Surin Province and his delegation. During the visit, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the volunteer staff and cooks, inspecting the ingredients used for meal preparations. He humorously remarked on the quality of the meals, suggesting that the governor should taste them first.
A reporter inquired about the homesickness of elderly evacuees, which prompted the Prime Minister to emphasize the importance of safety due to ongoing border conflicts. He explained that evacuating civilians to safe areas would allow front-line troops to focus on their duties without additional concerns. The Prime Minister affirmed the government's commitment to defending sovereignty and minimizing losses.
During his visit to the recreational area, the Prime Minister joined children's activities, distributing sandwiches made by villagers. He sat with a group of children, engaging in drawing and coloring with them. He autographed a notebook for a young girl, Nong Earn, and shared a moment of laughter with the children over the Children's Day slogan. The Prime Minister spent over 20 minutes coloring, taking selfies, and distributing notebooks, pencils, and pens to the children.
