Bangkok: Thank you to the poll that praises the government and the Prime Minister for being serious about cracking down on call center gangs. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed the results of a poll on the government's solution to the call center gang problem, which found that most people thought the government was determined and could solve the problem in the right way through various measures and the Prime Minister's clear, rapid, decisive, and serious orders.
According to Thai News Agency, the public also asked for additional proactive measures to eliminate call center gangs, such as cooperating with relevant agencies, cutting off telecommunications signals, cutting off electricity and internet, and coordinating with neighboring countries. In this regard, from the survey on the effectiveness of measures to solve the call center gang problem in the government of Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra by North Bangkok University Poll on the topic of "Solving the government's call center gang problem", it was found that 61.2% of the public viewed it as beneficial.
As for the additional measures that the public wanted the government to take, they included issuing arrest warrants for civil servants and foreigners involved (18.9%), finding and punishing the Thai officials involved (13.8%), requesting cooperation from China (12.6%), requesting cooperation from neighboring countries (12.5%), cutting off electricity (9.9%), using military force to deal with it (9.6%), cutting off the internet (7.4%), building a fence along the border (6.5%), stopping the delivery of oil (5.7%), and other measures (3.1%).
Mr. Jirayu emphasized that the government is determined to solve the crime problem and eliminate the call center gang seriously. He urged the public to have confidence in the government's work, highlighting ongoing efforts to suppress crime in all dimensions, including human trafficking and drug problems. He noted that a decrease in crime would lead to safer communities, more secure work environments, increased domestic investment, and an overall better economy, ultimately improving the quality of life for the people.
