Pipat Ratchakitprakarn’s Marathon Speech in Satun: Bhumjaithai Party’s Vision for Southern Transformation

Satun: In a marathon speech lasting nearly five hours, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, the Bhumjaithai Party's regional commander for Southern Thailand, delivered an impassioned presentation in Satun province. He was met with resounding cheers and support from the people of Satun, who remained engaged until the very last minute, demonstrating their unwavering confidence in and strong support for the Bhumjaithai Party.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat unveiled the "Satun Model" vision, aiming to transform Southern Thailand into an internationally recognized destination. Alongside key figures from the Bhumjaithai Party, he announced a comprehensive development strategy for Satun province. This strategy emphasizes integrating the potential of younger generations with the experience of seasoned veterans, including Mr. Pibul Ratchakitprakarn, a candidate for the party-list MP, and Mr. Worasit Liengprasit, candidate number 4 for Constituency 2. A major highlight of the strategy is the long-awaited "Satun-Perlis Bridge" project connecting Thailand and Malaysia, with a final decision expected on February 3rd. Additional priorities include developing a Satun airport and addressing recurring flooding issues through a comprehensive irrigation system, with the goal of elevating Satun to the same level of development as Phuket.

Mr. Peerapat Ratchakitprakarn, candidate for Member of Parliament, Constituency 1, Satun, number 3, representing the Bhumjaithai Party, presented his vision "Satun...Modern and Global." He advocates for integrating AI into the education system in all schools and using the Singapore model to develop tourist attractions. Plans to transform "Tan Yong Po Pier" into a landmark to attract tourists were also unveiled, alongside the success of the "Lae Chan Market."

The event's highlight was Mr. Pipat's speech, where he outlined plans to promote a comprehensive "Halal Industrial Estate" in five southern border provinces, focusing on exporting products to the Middle East. He also introduced a "Community Power Plant" project utilizing energy crops to create stable income and jobs for local residents. Emphasizing the need for unity between young professionals and experienced workers, he reiterated a strong stance on the importance of serious development in the South.

Mr. Pipat further stated, "I still maintain that the political party that claims to be the party of the South has been in government and has had prime ministers for many terms, yet its development has not lagged behind other regions. Therefore, I am taking this opportunity to 'reclaim the lost 30 years' for our brothers and sisters in the South."

Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, Mr. Supachai Jaisamut, and Mr. Chalath Ratchakitprakarn joined the rally, reinforcing their confidence and stating that Satun is fortunate to have experienced and hardworking candidates, as well as visionary young leaders. They praised the outstanding leadership of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul in administration and national security. The Bhumjaithai Party expressed full readiness to win the entire province, confident that its "Promise Plus" policy will truly address the needs and improve the quality of life for the people of Satun. They requested support for both the candidates and the party on February 8, 2026.
