Bangkok: Rumors are circulating that "Deputy Minister Tum" is gradually collecting items from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. It has been reported that the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Chatuporn Buruspat, had his staff quietly collect their belongings while he was on official duty in Trang Province. This move comes as his name appears on the list of new Cabinet members as the Minister of Commerce.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chatuporn attended the closing ceremony of the 8th Marine Science Academic Conference under the theme 'Science, Technology and Innovation for the Changing Sea,' organized by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources in Trang Province. After completing his official duties, Mr. Jatuporn gave a telephone interview to reporters, addressing the news of his nomination as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce in the new cabinet. He stated that 'everything is going according to process.'
Regarding his resignation from his current position, he confirmed that he remains the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and has traveled to Trang Province to perform his duties as usual. Nonetheless, reports from the Ministry indicate that Mr. Jatuporn's personal belongings have been discreetly removed from the ministry.
