Nipit Criticizes Political Collusion Scandal Involving Pheu Thai Party Silence

Bangkok: Harsh criticism erupted as Nipit Intarasombat slammed the current political climate, labeling it a collusion scandal, with the Pheu Thai party notably silent following the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC)'s dismissal of a complaint related to Saksiam's shares.

According to Thai News Agency, former Phatthalung MP Nipit Intarasombat expressed his views on Facebook, suggesting that to contest a case against Saksiam, one must adopt Saksiam's perspective. Nipit argued that conventional thinking, grounded in standard legal principles, often leads to unfavorable outcomes in such cases. He emphasized that common sense might not always be advantageous in legal battles.

The controversy traces back to Saksiam's legal defeat in the Constitutional Court, after which he pursued a lawsuit against Mr. Suphawat to reclaim shares valued at 119.5 million baht. Saksiam claimed he became aware of these shares only after the court's ruling. Despite losing, Saksiam appealed and eventually reached a settlement in the Court of Appeals, transferring the shares to Mr. Suphawat. This consent judgment was submitted to the NACC as evidence.

Surprisingly, the NACC accepted the scenario, complicating the situation further. Initially, the Pheu Thai Party, while in opposition, forwarded the matter to the NACC for a ruling. However, upon the NACC's decision, protests emerged, though the Pheu Thai Party remained silent, hinting at a possible collusion with the Bhumjaithai Party.

Nipit suggested that individuals with a collusion mindset should support both the Bhumjaithai Party and the Pheu Thai Party, as they appear to share similar values. He further noted that several rigged vaccine doses are allegedly prepared for opposition MPs. Nipit implied that any opposition MP unwilling to petition the Supreme Court to investigate the NACC likely received a "collusion vaccine," making them immune to the issue.
