Minister of Education Provides Support to Bombing Victim’s Family

Bangkok: The Minister of Education visited 'Grandma Saton', who lost her grandchild in the bombing incident, offering her a new house, a tractor, and a motorcycle as compensation. Additionally, the Minister ordered a team of teachers and psychologists to the area to support teachers, students, and victims.

According to Thai News Agency, Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, the Minister of Education, stated that the Ministry has coordinated with local agencies to offer care and support for the mental health of children affected by the Thai-Cambodian conflict. A dedicated team of teachers, psychologists, and officials will be deployed to provide close care to those impacted.

Moreover, the Minister, in collaboration with the Thammanat Prompao Foundation, is preparing to construct a new house for Mrs. Saton Kanpai, aged 63, who suffered significant losses due to the border bombing incident. She lost her grandson, sustained serious injuries, and her house was completely destroyed. This initiative aims to provide initial physical and mental relief for the affected family and the innocent people involved. Mrs. Saton has also requested a tractor, a motorcycle, a sidecar, and household appliances, which will be provided in accordance with her needs.
