Nonthaburi: An internet celebrity has reported the disappearance of two luxury watches from her luggage after boarding a flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Krabi. Upon arrival, the luggage showed signs of tampering, with the zippers broken. Despite filing a police report, no progress has been made, prompting her to seek assistance from lawyer Ronnarong to raise awareness and push for action in the case.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident involved Ms. Kitticha, known as "Mukmuay," a 29-year-old net idol with over 4 million followers. She, alongside her boyfriend "DJ Paep," presented evidence to Mr. Ronnarong Kaewpetch, president of the Foundation for the Campaign to Reclaim Justice, and advisor Ms. Chadaporn Pongthongmuang in Nonthaburi Province. They reported that on August 21, 2026, they boarded a flight that was scheduled to land in Krabi at 4:30 PM. Upon arrival, they discovered their luggage had been ransacked, resulting in the loss of two luxury watches: a diamond-encrusted Cartier valued at 470,000 baht and another watch worth 140,000 baht, totaling 610,000 baht. Police reports have been filed at both Nuea Khlong Police Station in Krabi Province and Suvarnabhumi Police Station in Samut Prakan Province, but there has been no progress in the investigation.
Mr. Ronnarong highlighted that theft at an airport carries a significant penalty, with potential prison sentences ranging from 1 to 5 years. The responsibility lies with the airline if an employee is involved. He plans to take further action by filing a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division to expedite the investigation, as existing reports have shown no advancement.
