Bangkok:The Government Savings Bank (GSB) has temporarily closed several branches in Bangkok and surrounding provinces due to continuous heavy rainfall affecting travel and services in the area.
According to Thai News Agency, the closures are necessary for the safety of both customers and employees. As of September 26, 2026, branches temporarily closed include those in Phra Khanong, Khlong Chan, Min Buri, Chatuchak, Lat Phrao, Wang Thonglang, Bang Khen, Laksi, Rat Burana, Mueang Nonthaburi, and Pak Kret districts.
The bank is actively monitoring the weather conditions and will provide updates on the status of other branches as necessary. The GSB has expressed its concerns for those impacted by the rainfall and encourages individuals to stay informed through their official communication channels, such as the GSB Society Facebook page.
