Bangkok: A well-known fortune teller has been apprehended for allegedly tricking people into renting amulets, with over 20 victims coming forward to report losses totaling more than 70 million baht. The Crime Suppression Division is currently investigating the case. According to Thai News Agency, the victims filed a complaint against Mr. Thanawan, also known as "Tili Feng Shui," accusing him of deceiving them by promoting amulets that supposedly ward off bad luck and increase fortune. The complaints prompted the Crime Suppression Division police to take action. Pol. Lt. Gen. Akkaradej Pimolsri, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, stated that the police conducted an operation to arrest the fortune teller after the Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant on fraud charges. The arrest took place in Pathum Thani Province, and Mr. Thanawan is currently being questioned by the authorities at the Crime Suppression Division.
