Family Learns of Body Seizure via Social Media Amid Funeral Preparations

Chiang rai: The family of Mr. Nattawut Ponglangka, a well-known reporter and announcer, discovered through social media about the potential seizure of his body by authorities. Despite this unsettling news, they have not yet been contacted by police regarding the matter. The family has expressed their willingness to cooperate fully with any future investigations.

According to Thai News Agency, the funeral ceremony for Nattawut, who passed away at the age of 35, took place at Rim Kok Temple in Rim Kok Village, Mae Yao Subdistrict. The event was marked by a somber atmosphere, with numerous relatives and friends in attendance to pay their respects. The family confirmed that they learned about the possible seizure of the body solely through social media and are awaiting official communication from the authorities.

Nattawut's parents stated that while they are prepared to assist the police if contacted, they have not yet received any formal requests. The family plans to proceed with the religious ceremonies as planned, with cremation set for December 6, 2015. Should the authorities request to seize the body, the family intends to ensure that religious traditions are respected and will cooperate to allow for a thorough examination to clarify any uncertainties surrounding the situation. At present, the family remains in mourning and is not available for interviews.
