Bangkok: Large crowds gathered at major retail stores in Bangkok on Friday morning as customers lined up to pick up pre-ordered iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models on their first day of official release in Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, at the AIS SIAM outlet, customers arrived as early as 6:00 a.m. local time, with pre-order holders queuing before doors opened at 8:00 a.m. to unbox, test camera features, and set up their devices. Today's pickup was restricted to pre-order customers and trade-in participants, with walk-in sales scheduled to begin next week.
Prices for the new lineup start at 60,000 baht ($1,800), with top-tier configurations reaching up to 100,000 baht ($3,000) for the 2 TB storage capacity. The Pro Max lineup features four color options: a newly introduced Burgundy, Glacier Blue, Silver, and Black.
Prapat Siangjan, chief retail business officer at AIS, said iPhone users demonstrate strong brand loyalty with consistent upgrade cycles and a focus on trade-in value.
