Bangkok: The committee overseeing the construction of the Royal Crematorium, its attached buildings, and the restoration of the Royal Chariot and the Royal Barge convened for its 1/2568 meeting at Meeting Room 301, Command Building 1, Government House. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee for the Construction of the Royal Crematorium, its Attached Buildings, and the Restoration of the Royal Chariot and the Royal Barge for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture and Vice-Chairman of the committee, and Ms. Yupha Thaweewattanakitboworn, Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister and a committee member, were also present. The meeting focused on the operational plan for constructing the Royal Crematorium and its accompanying structures for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother.
The committee also reviewed the operational plan for the restoration and renovation of the royal carriage, royal palanquin, and other royal equipment. These efforts aim to ensure the Royal Cremation Ceremony for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother proceeds smoothly and with due respect.
