Actor Pon Nawas and Cookie Yada Discuss Future Plans Amidst Marriage Speculations

Bangkok: After two years of dating, Phon Nawas and Cookie Yada are discussing their future, and it’s possible he might propose at a running track. Another couple whose love has been going strong for two years is actor Pon Nawas and his girlfriend, Cookie Yada. Yesterday (March 16th, 2026), they gave an interview at the gala premiere of the Thai film “Phra Mai,” a film starring Pon. Prior to this, Pon had stated in an interview that they’ve discussed their future together after two years. Now, we have to ask Cookie what her perspective is on the future.

According to Thai News Agency, Cookie revealed that she only found out her boyfriend wanted to get married when reporters asked her today. She admitted that they’ve been dating for two years and have discussed their future together, planning what they’ll do in three and five years. When asked if she’s ready to get married now, she said she wants to focus on her career first and that it probably won’t happen this year. During the interview, Cookie blushed and looked very shy when pressed about marriage.

Poon said their relationship is always sweet and comfortable. He’s currently gathering information and planning a surprise, waiting for the right moment and time to make it happen for her. As for whether the proposal will be at a running track, he’s not sure. Cookie added that she’d like a hint, because she might not look good after a marathon. But if she gets a feeling a proposal is imminent at any running track, she’ll dress up nicely and be ready every time.

Regarding surprises, the couple said that lately it’s been difficult to do them because they’ve started to figure each other out. For example, Cookie’s planned surprise for Phon’s birthday, which she flew to Phitsanulok province to try and pull off, failed because his manager acted suspiciously. They admitted that they’ve been trying to surprise each other all along, but with varying degrees of success. Therefore, they have to plan carefully to avoid giving the other person any indication.
