Department of International Trade Promotion to Host Major AI-Driven Logistics Event in 2026

Bangkok: The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce is actively promoting the integration of AI technologies within logistics frameworks, aiming to streamline connections between manufacturers, exporters, buyers, and logistics service providers. According to Thai News Agency, the DITP, in collaboration with RX BITEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has announced the organization of 'TILOG - LogistiX 2026,' a comprehensive trade show dedicated to showcasing advanced logistics technologies and services. Scheduled to take place from August 19-21, 2026, at Hall 98, BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, the event is expected to draw over 7,100 Thai and international entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and buyers. It aims to generate over 2 billion baht in trade value through business matching activities which will facilitate connections between manufacturers, exporters, buyers, and logistics service providers from Thailand and across the globe. The event is designed to addres s the changing dynamics of global trade by incorporating AI, automation, and intelligent logistics solutions. These advancements are intended to enhance supply chain management. The exhibition will feature technologies, products, and solutions from over 485 brands across 25 countries, highlighting areas such as warehouse management, packaging, handling and movement, transportation systems, IT logistics, and modern supply chain technologies. This platform offers Thai businesses an opportunity to experience cutting-edge technologies, exchange knowledge, and build networks with international business partners. An Innovation Showcase was also organized, featuring Thai-made smart drones tailored for warehouse management 4.0. These drones aim to improve inventory counting efficiency, reduce work time, and enhance safety. The showcase included demonstrations of how AI and digital technologies can be applied to improve supply chain management, showcasing the potential of Thai innovations to meet the needs of modern businesses.
