Bangkok: Mr. Watchara Kannikar, advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and potential spokesperson for the Ministry, emphasized the professional capabilities of Minister Suchart Chomklin, stating that he is adept at collaborating with all groups without issues. He addressed concerns arising from Mr. Ekkunat Promphan’s media interview, clarifying his satisfaction with working alongside Mr. Suchart, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Watchara acknowledged the political history shared by Mr. Ekkunat and Mr. Suchart within the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party and the previous government. He noted that while there may be political matters to resolve, these should be approached gradually. Mr. Watchara expressed concern over potential public misunderstandings regarding Mr. Suchart and the 16 MPs, assuring that Mr. Suchart has moved beyond past issues with Mr. Ekkunat and is concentrating on his duties.
Mr. Watchara further elaborated that Mr. Suchart is committed to his role as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, focusing on executing his responsibilities effectively. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the current political stability and direction, ensuring it aligns with the trust placed by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
