Bangkok: Typhoon Yinxing has intensified rainfall across various regions of Thailand, bringing significant precipitation to the lower northeastern, eastern, and lower central areas in recent days. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chavalit Chantrarat, a water expert at Team Consulting Engineering and Management PCL, also known as 'Team Group', confirmed that Typhoon Yinxing has been responsible for the increased rainfall, while Typhoon Toraji and Tropical Storm Manyi will not impact the country. Typhoon Yinxing, the 22nd typhoon of the year, initially formed in the western Pacific Ocean and intensified into a category 3 storm before shifting southwest and weakening into a tropical storm. The typhoon made landfall on November 12-13, affecting regions including Quy Nhon City and its surroundings, and is expected to dissipate by November 14. In contrast, Typhoon Toraji, identified as the 23rd typhoon of the year, has primarily impacted the northern part of Luzon Island in the Philippines and is anticipated to dissipate in the sea east of Hainan Island between November 16-17. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Manyi, the 24th storm of the year, is projected to bring rainfall to southern and central Japan in the coming days before dissipating in the sea east of Japan by November 19-20. Additionally, there is a need to monitor the cold air mass from China, which may influence these meteorological developments. The cold air mass is expected to remain strong until November 12, potentially impacting the trajectory and intensity of these storms.
