Trump Announces US-NATO Cooperation on Greenland

Davos: U.S. President Donald Trump announced at the World Economic Forum that the United States will collaborate with NATO to ensure the security of Greenland. This statement comes following his assurance that the U.S. has no intention to invade Greenland.

According to Thai News Agency, President Trump expressed confidence that his strategy regarding Greenland will be positively received by all involved parties. He indicated that further details of the plan will be disclosed in the upcoming weeks.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also highlighted the Commission's intention to roll out a substantial investment package for Greenland. She underscored the importance of enhancing security and defense partnerships with regional allies, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, and Iceland. She sees this as a significant geopolitical necessity for Greenland's current context.
