Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, conveyed her congratulations via a video message, expressing her honor on behalf of the Thai government and its people. She extended gratitude to the Repub lic of Paraguay for hosting the meeting and to the Committee for recognizing 'Tom Yum Goong' as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The registration of 'Tom Yum Goong' is a testament to the success of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, highlighting the importance of preserving intangible cultural heritage.
