The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) hosted the youth invention and innovation awards ceremony, emphasizing the importance of developing human resources in research and innovation.
According to Thai News Agency, the NRCT aims to motivate and provide opportunities for Thai youth to showcase their potential in invention and innovation. The event, themed "Unlock Thailand - Power of Invention and Innovation," was held at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center. It highlighted the practical application of young inventors' work across various fields.
The event's atmosphere remained vibrant, providing a platform for youth and interested individuals to participate in competitions and awards ceremonies, including the International Invention Competition (PITEX), the I-New Gen Junior 2026 award, and the Thailand New Gen Inventors Award 2026 (I-New Gen Award 2026).
Dr. Wiparat Dee-ong, Director of the NRCT, noted the increasing number of young people developing inventions and submitting entries each year. The presented works demonstrated advanced creativity across all categories. The NRCT believes that award-winning works will inspire young inventors and lead to sustainable development in research that meets national needs.
