ThaiBev Backs Thai Women’s Volleyball Team for 17th SEA Games Title

Bangkok: ThaiBev has announced its continued support for the Thai women's national volleyball team as they aim for their 17th SEA Games title at the 2025 SEA Games. For over 35 years, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited has played a pivotal role in promoting and developing Thai volleyball, working closely with the Volleyball Association of Thailand to build a sustainable foundation for the sport.

According to Thai News Agency, this collaboration has been instrumental in scouting and nurturing young talent from across Thailand, with selection processes targeting athletes aged 12 to 18. This initiative has successfully produced numerous national players, including stars like Chatchu-on Moksri, Dolporn Sinpho, and Jidapa Nahuanong. The Thai women's national volleyball team has achieved remarkable success, securing 16 SEA Games championships and ranking 1st in ASEAN, 3rd in Asia, and 18th globally.

"Bum Bim" Chatchu-on Moksri, the team's captain for the SEA Games, expressed her enthusiasm about the team's preparation, stating, "Everyone is back together as a team, which makes the training atmosphere very good. We will do our best." She also invited fans to cheer for the team as they compete in Thailand and emphasized the importance of being gracious hosts for the event.

As the Official Bronze Sponsor of the 33rd SEA Games, ThaiBev is committed to supporting the team's quest for another championship. The Thai women's national volleyball team is set to play its first group stage match against Singapore on December 10, 2025, followed by a match against the Philippines on December 11, 2025, both scheduled for 5:30 PM at the Indoor Stadium Huamark.
