Ayutthaya:A rapid response team from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Development Command has been dispatched to aid the Bang Bal temporary shelter and deliver drinking water directly to residents' homes in the area.
According to Thai News Agency, the commander of the 15th Military District Command ordered 17 rapid response units to deploy to Bang Bal for flood relief efforts. These units have been instrumental in setting up shelters, providing drinking water, mobile toilets, and utilizing boats to distribute water to local homes.
Colonel Mahithorn Boonkrong, Commander of the Disaster Relief Center, Mobile Development Unit 15 (MDU 15), Regional Development Office 1 (RDO 1), Development Command, led the deployment of a rapid response team to support Bang Bal District in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. They organized accommodation at the Wat Khok Hirun School shelter, which was established to house approximately 200 flood victims.
The operation included deploying a mobile water purification unit to produce clean drinking water and mobile toilets to ensure sanitation. Personnel also distributed 300 bottles of 350ml bottled water, marked with the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters logo, to residents in Bang Chani and Sai Noi subdistricts. The efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the flooding and provide ongoing support to the impacted population.
