Sukhothai: "Suriya" congratulates "Manu" on winning the Sukhothai Provincial Administrative Organization chairman position. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, praised Manu Phukprasit for his victory in the Sukhothai Provincial Administrative Organization election, highlighting the overwhelming support Manu received as a testament to his effective leadership and local popularity. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suriya also expressed his congratulations to Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, for his commendable efforts in the region, which falls under his purview. Mr. Suriya noted the successful re-election of the previous administration, attributing it to their positive contributions to Sukhothai. Regarding the election outcome in Khon Kaen, Mr. Suriya clarified that the province did not field a candidate, thus there was no loss attributed to them. He emphasized that no candidate was sent from Khon Kaen for the election. When questioned about Khon Ka en's political alignment, especially its association with the Thai Rak Thai Party, Mr. Suriya pointed out that the former president of the provincial administrative organization was not affiliated with the Pheu Thai Party. On the topic of future elections for provincial administrative organization presidents in other provinces, Mr. Suriya expressed confidence in the Pheu Thai Party's prospects. He asserted that candidates with strong performance records would be well-received by local communities, emphasizing the need to select individuals committed to serving their provinces effectively.
