Student Loan Fund Addresses App Update Concerns, Ensures Borrowers’ Repayment Amounts Remain Intact

Bangkok: The Student Loan Fund (SLF) has assured borrowers that their loan repayment amounts remain unaffected despite delays in updating the SLF Connect application. The organization is actively working to resolve discrepancies in the app balance display and aims to restore public trust.

According to Thai News Agency, the SLF has clarified issues regarding outdated debt balances shown in the SLF Connect application, which have led to borrower unease. The fund confirms that repayment records are accurately maintained and encourages borrowers to verify their past repayment information within the application under the 'Services' menu. The outdated balance display stems from ongoing updates to the debt calculation system, affecting over 4 million accounts, which has temporarily delayed accurate balance reflections.

The SLF is dedicated to keeping the public informed about progress through official channels to quickly rebuild confidence in their services.
