Pathum thani: The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) took part in the royal cremation ceremony for victims of the construction crane collapse in Pathum Thani Province. The ceremony was held at Wat Nangkhanchantri, following the tragic incident where a crane fell and crushed a train.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anan Pothinimdaeng, Deputy Governor and Acting Governor of the State Railway of Thailand, along with SRT executives and staff, attended the special ceremony at Wat Nangkhanchantri crematorium in Lam Luk Ka District. The ceremony was conducted to honor those who lost their lives in the accident.
During the ceremony, the Acting Governor participated in laying funeral robes and sandalwood flowers as a gesture of condolences and remembrance for the deceased. He also met with the bereaved families as part of the formal proceedings.
The State Railway of Thailand has affirmed its commitment to support the families of the deceased and those affected by the incident.
