Bangkok: "Sabida" officially began her duties as Minister of Culture, marking her first day in the role. Ministry executives welcomed Ms. Sabida Thaiset, offering her an overview of the Ministry's operations.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sabida Thaiset, accompanied by Mr. Prasop Riangngen, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, and other Ministry executives, paid homage to the portrait of His Majesty the King in the lobby of the Wisit Cultural Building. Following this, they moved to the Minister's office, where Islamic religious leaders and representatives from the Chularatchamontri Office conducted a dua (prayer for blessings) on the 7th floor.
Further activities included Ms. Sabida visiting the Ministry's sacred shrines. She entrusted the Permanent Secretary with the task of performing worship ceremonies at various sacred sites within the Ministry of Culture premises. She also attended a presentation that provided insights into the Ministry's overall operations and the activities of its agencies. Executives extended their congratulations to the 76 provincial cultural officials who joined the event through electronic media platforms.
