Prime Minister Anutin Asserts Unyielding Confidence in Thai Military Amid Border Tensions

Bangkok: The Prime Minister is confident that the Thai military will never be defeated and the government is ready to provide support. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed unwavering confidence in the strength and resilience of the Thai military, assuring the nation that the government is prepared to offer full support. He extended his gratitude to the public for their encouragement, emphasizing his solidarity as a fellow Thai citizen.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Anutin received a letter and flowers from a group of citizens committed to protecting the nation and upholding the monarchy. This group included supporters from the provinces of Ayutthaya, Sing Buri, Lop Buri, Saraburi, and Phetchaburi, as well as members of the People's Center for Protecting the Monarchy (PCPM). They gathered to demonstrate their support for the Prime Minister in defending the nation amidst ongoing clashes on the Thai-Cambodian border.

Mr. Anutin remarked that the expressions of support and encouragement serve as a morale booster for those dedicated to safeguarding the country's honor and sovereignty. He expressed confidence that this backing would provide the military with determination and confidence, knowing they have the unwavering support of the people.

In addressing the situation, Mr. Anutin reassured citizens of his close collaboration with the military, stating that the military leadership has consistently expressed confidence in their ability to defend the nation. He emphasized Thailand's commitment to peace while firmly opposing any acts of aggression or invasion.

Mr. Anutin reiterated his stance, stating, "In this situation, your Prime Minister is also a Thai citizen who will not allow anyone to violate our sovereignty and is ready to support and fight alongside every soldier."
