Police to Summon Four Individuals for Statements in Journalist’s Death Investigation

Nonthaburi: Police are preparing to issue summonses for four individuals associated with Natpong's household to provide statements following several phone appointments. Today, December 6, 2025, Pol. Maj. Gen. Detraphee Kongdee, Commander of Nonthaburi Provincial Police, visited Bang Kruai Police Station to convene a meeting with officers from the case-solving team, Region 1 Provincial Police Investigation Team, Nonthaburi Provincial Police Investigation Team, and Bang Kruai Police Station investigators.

According to Thai News Agency, investigators are in the process of issuing summonses to four people who were present at the deceased's home: Mr. Big, Mr. Ton, Ms. Or, and Ms. O. These individuals were dining with the deceased and are needed to provide their statements. Despite previous phone calls to arrange their appearances, a specific date and time have not yet been agreed upon.

Later today, at approximately 4:30 PM, Police Lieutenant General Wattana Yijin, Commander of Provincial Police Region 1, is scheduled to attend a meeting concerning the death of Mr. Nattawut Ponglangka, a well-known journalist and news anchor, who passed away at his home in the Bang Kruai area of Nonthaburi Province.
