Bangkok: Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai parties are scheduled to meet on February 24 to discuss the allocation of cabinet positions. The discussions are crucial as both parties work towards forming a stable government.
According to Thai News Agency, reporters from the Pheu Thai Party have provided updates on the progress of the allocation of cabinet positions. The Bhumjaithai Party, as the leading party in forming the government, has allocated a total of eight positions: four cabinet ministers and four deputy ministers. The Pheu Thai Party has put forward Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, their prime ministerial candidate, for the role of Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The final decision rests with Mr. Yotsanan.
Recent reports indicate that Mr. Yotsanan is interested in the ministry position due to his experience in university education. The upcoming meeting on February 24th between the Bhumjaithai and Pheu Thai parties will further address the allocation of these crucial cabinet positions
