Noom Kanchai Ends Relationship with Film Ratthaphum, Pursues Legal Action Over Extortion Claim.

BANGKOK: Noom Kanchai, also known as Mr. Phudit Kamnerdploy, has announced the end of his relationship with Film Ratthaphum, declaring his intention to take full legal action against him. Noom made it clear that he will not attempt to reconcile or clear the air, instead emphasizing that he will pursue the case to the fullest extent of the law. He criticized Film for lacking dignity and emphasized that there was no need for a warning, suggesting that Film should reflect on his upbringing. According to Thai News Agency, Noom Kanchai went to the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) to provide additional testimony regarding an audio clip involving Ms. Krisanong Suwanwong and Mr. Ratthaphum Tokongsub. The audio allegedly involved false claims using Noom's name and the "Hone Krasae" program to demand 20 million baht from Boss Pun for the appearance of Boss Paul on the show. Noom stated that the audio clip defamed him and was an attempt to deceive others for financial gain. He plans to file a defamation complaint and w ill take legal action in every possible case. When asked about another audio clip that mentioned a minister, Noom stated that it was the minister's responsibility to take action, and he had already sent the clip to the minister. Noom confirmed that he had severed all communication with Film after unsuccessfully attempting to discuss the truth with him before filing the complaint. Film had denied the allegations, claiming the clip was edited. Noom expressed disappointment, hoping Film would admit the truth and avoid further escalation. Noom also addressed Ms. Krisanong's statement that the incident was a business proposal rather than extortion. He suggested that her interpretation was flawed, emphasizing that her actions implied extortion by threatening consequences if demands were not met. Noom urged others who have been wronged to come forward and file complaints, emphasizing the importance of addressing such issues in society. Regarding the claim for damages, Noom mentioned that the damage to his reputat ion far exceeded the 20 million baht figure. He asserted his long-standing professional reputation was worth more, and he might claim a higher amount. Noom criticized Film's actions as undignified and expressed disbelief that someone respected in society would engage in such behavior. In closing, Noom remarked that the responsibility for right and wrong is taught from a young age by family and educators, questioning whether Film's upbringing included such teachings.
