Bangkok:The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) conducted its 25th meeting for 2026, with officials presenting various agenda items, despite notable absences.
According to Thai News Agency, the meeting took place on October 8, 2026, from 930 AM to 430 PM at Room Sailom 1121 on the 12th Floor of the NBTC Building. Mr. Trairat Wiriyasirikul, Deputy Secretary-General and Acting Secretary-General of the NBTC, disclosed that the meeting was held in compliance with all relevant regulations, rules, and laws.
Despite the presence of NBTC staff prepared to explain the agenda items, the meeting faced challenges due to the absence of both the NBTC Chairman, who had a prior engagement, and all NBTC commissioners. Consequently, the NBTC Office was unable to cancel the meeting, and the meeting room was officially closed at 430 PM.
