Nattapong Retains Leadership as Phicharn Steps In as New Secretary-General

Bangkok: The People's Party has decided to retain Nattapong Ruangpanyawut as its leader, while appointing Phicharn Chaowapatanawong as the new secretary-general, following Sarayut Jailak's resignation after an electoral defeat.

According to Thai News Agency, the decision was made during the People's Party's general assembly. During the meeting, Nattapong Ruangpanyawut put forward the nomination of Phicharn Chaowapatanawong to succeed Sarayut Jailak as the party's secretary-general. Alongside these leadership changes, Sutthawan Suban Na Ayutthaya was appointed as a member of the party's executive committee.
