MP Sudacha Sangtansap Declines Immediate Comment on Summons Over Alleged Scammer Case

Chaiyaphum:MP Sudacha Sangtansap of the Bhumjaithai Party declined to comment on her recent summons for questioning regarding an alleged scammer case involving her and her husband.

According to Thai News Agency, MP Sudacha attended the weekly Bhumjaithai Party meeting where reporters asked her about a letter from Rangsiman Rome. Mr. Rome, a list MP from the People's Party and Chairman of the House Committee on Law, Justice, and Human Rights, invited Sudacha and her husband, Sang Taiyang, to provide information concerning their assets. This request is related to the Anti-Money Laundering Act and monitoring of digital asset businesses potentially linked to scammers.

Sudacha stated she would speak on the matter later, expressing gratitude to the media for their interest and indicating she was aware of the allegations. She assured that she would soon clarify all the facts.

When further pressed by reporters about whether she would provide clarification to Mr. Rome's committee, Sudacha refrained from answering directly. She reiterated her intention to explain everything once all facts were gathered.
