Bangkok:The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is enhancing efforts to support residents affected by recent flooding by adding more locations for online registration assistance.
According to Thai News Agency, the BMA is working swiftly to evaluate the extent of flood damage and facilitate online registration for relief funds. The government is expected to start disbursing these funds within the week.
Some payments through the BMA's system require detailed damage assessments, which may extend the verification process. To address this, the BMA is quickly deploying teams to the flooded areas to expedite the delivery of financial assistance to those in need.
