Mixed-Race Investor Appeals for Help in Locating Missing Rolex Watches Worth a Million Baht

Bangkok: A mixed-race man is appealing to the media to find two Rolex watches worth nearly a million baht, which he had entrusted to an acquaintance who claimed they were stolen. He insists he will fight the case to reclaim his life savings.

According to Thai News Agency, at 11:00 AM on June 10, 2026, in front of the old Dan Neramit Market, Mr. Martin, a 29-year-old Thai-Norwegian investor, appealed to the media for justice and information after two Rolex watches, worth nearly 1 million baht in total, which he had entrusted to an acquaintance to sell, mysteriously disappeared in November 2024. The intermediary claimed the watches were stolen by thieves, but there is no concrete evidence.

Mr. Martin revealed that the two watches were purchased with his hard-earned savings. He had previously entrusted the middleman with selling other items on several occasions, thus building trust in him. However, after the incident, the middleman only informed him that the watches had been stolen and that a police report had been filed, without disclosing details about where or how they were stolen. When Mr. Martin offered to help with legal action to find the culprit, he was refused and forbidden from getting involved.

"I have all the chat evidence, and the matter is now in the legal process," Mr. Martin stated. "I'm not coming out today to seek attention or harm anyone, but to seek justice and the truth, because this is my savings," he added.

Market buyers have been warned to beware of "stolen goods" as the serial numbers of the two luxury watches have been revealed. The owner confirms that they still possess the original receipt from a shop in Thailand and legally hold the rights. Therefore, they are requesting assistance from anyone who finds the watches or from a second-hand watch dealer to help verify the following serial numbers:

1. Rolex Datejust 41, grey dial: Serial number KC298627.

2. Rolex Datejust 41, blue dial: Serial number 680A9468.

Anyone who sees, possesses, or has any information about these two watches is asked to contact Martin directly at 09 8787 8668. Please be warned that purchasing or possessing these watches may constitute the crime of receiving stolen goods under the law.
