Phetchaburi:Military Construction Unit 13 ventured into the headwaters of the Phetchaburi River to deliver essential supplies to ethnic minority households affected by floods.
According to Thai News Agency, the 13th Military District Command braved the floodwaters to provide food and drinking water to 45 households in the upstream areas of Phetchaburi, offering much-needed relief to these communities.
The Disaster Relief Center of Mobile Development Unit 13, under the Regional Development Office 1 and the Development Command of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, deployed a rapid response disaster relief team. This team, in cooperation with local leaders and residents, reached Song Phi Nong Subdistrict in Kaeng Krachan District, Phetchaburi Province. They distributed food and 500 bottles of drinking water supplied by the Royal Thai Armed Forces to the affected households, providing initial relief and assistance.
Officials are closely monitoring the water situation and the well-being of the local population, coordinating with local agencies to ensure continuous assistance. They are focusing on addressing areas potentially affected by the floods and ensuring prompt and comprehensive aid delivery.
