The announcement was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Brad Smith, Executive Vice President and President of Microsoft Corporation, at the Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House.
According to Thai News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing Thailand’s digital landscape by upgrading skills to support government services and reducing digital costs. Mr. Smith reiterated Microsoft’s commitment to Thailand and announced plans to invest in cloud and AI infrastructure over the next two years. This significant investment underscores Microsoft’s confidence in Thailand’s potential and its strategic geographical position in the region.
